Further to my post of 17 July, I'm pleased to confirm the injured juvenile is back with his family. Lawrie from Wildlife Aid had advised on Monday 1st that they were happy with his progress, and that he was okay for release. He had suffered a major head injury, likely as a result of impact, and the associated neurological issues had taken a while to resolve. The adults and other juvenile are still in the area and often on Quadrant House, so it was safe to release him in the knowledge he would re-bond with the family okay despite the time he'd been gone - that's not usually a problem where Peregrines are concerned. I spoke to Clive in Quadrant House reception during the afternoon to confirm that the plan was to release him on the roof that evening if that was okay, likely after the main office had closed, and a volunteer from Wildlife Aid brought him back early evening. With the help of security staff Mark and Asim (Asim assisted with the roof access and release itself), I released him on the roof at about 18.40 and returned to the station car park to monitor what happened. He subsequently flew, landing for a while on a 17th floor window ledge (not really what I wanted to see), but then flew off after a parent, I think Perry. The last images from the webcam are from the next day, Tuesday 2nd, when he was in view at about 11.00. He had been away for exactly three weeks and has some catching up to do but hopefully that will go okay, and it was perhaps fortunate that he had been flying well prior to the incident as he will have retained those skills and confidence, even if they need polishing a bit. Huge thanks and appreciation for the care they gave him are of course due to Wildlife Aid ( wildlifeaid.org.uk ), and if any followers are able to support them it would be much appreciated. John (JB).

Fulham.
This is Indy in Richmond Park! This was taken by Warren Richardson on Wednesday. He has more pictures on his Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/testtube29/ Go and check them, they're great shots. And it confirms she can hunt for herself
Warren says that he saw her there on Wednesday morning and early afternoon, and again on Friday. She was back at the hospital on Wednesday night but I haven't seen her since then. There has been some disturbance at the hospital this weekend so we didn't get so see much of the adults either.
Keep your eyes peeled if you're in Richmond Park, you never know, she may still be there!
